- Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, progress expectations, and self-management techniques.
- Stay updated on advancements within the field to incorporate best practices into patient care.
- Contribute to research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing rehabilitation services.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required.
- Active medical license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
- In-depth knowledge of diverse physical disabilities and treatments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to engage with patients and colleagues effectively.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Commitment to continuous education and development in the field.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
