Description

We're looking for a Senior Resident Engineer to join one of our clients in Sharjah, UAE. The role will be fully onsite and will involve managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting observability platforms within a live production environment. The ideal candidate will be the go-to expert for Dynatrace-managed environments and possess strong complementary monitoring expertise in SolarWinds, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. This role requires a mix of deep technical proficiency, incident resolution skills, and the ability to advise on platform performance improvements.

Responsibility & Scope


• Observability Platform Management: Own the day-to-day administration, tuning, and optimization of Dynatrace-managed environments, ensuring maximum uptime and visibility.


• Integration & Complementary Monitoring: Leverage SolarWinds to complement Dynatrace capabilities and ensure a unified monitoring framework across infrastructure and applications.


• Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Lead proactive detection, root cause analysis, and resolution of performance and availability issues.


• Performance Optimization: Analyze monitoring data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement; recommend actionable enhancements.


• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates, technical reports, and recommendations to client stakeholders and internal teams.


• Process Compliance & Documentation: Maintain operational runbooks, incident logs, and best-practice guides in line with company and client standards.


• Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer: Work closely with client IT teams to ensure monitoring strategies are fully aligned with business objectives.

Requirements


• Certified Dynatrace Professional with hands-on experience in managed environments.


• Strong background in SolarWinds deployment, configuration, and integration with other observability tools.
• Proficient in incident management, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for enterprise-scale IT environments.


• Strong understanding of application performance monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, and service-level objectives (SLOs).


• Ability to operate independently while aligning with the client's operational framework and reporting structure.


• Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


• 7+ Years of Experience (in IT infrastructure, application performance management, or observability engineering roles)


• 3-5 Years of dedicated experience working with Dynatrace and SolarWinds in large enterprise or critical environment setups
