Job Summary:

The Document Controller will be responsible for managing all documentation related to geotechnical testing activities. This includes the organization, control, tracking, and distribution of test reports, internal records, client documents, and quality management documentation to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and other relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, register, and manage all incoming and outgoing laboratory documents (test requests, reports, calibration certificates, client communications, etc.).
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate filing systems (both digital and physical) for all geotechnical test reports and records.
  • Ensure proper document control procedures in accordance with quality standards (e.g., ISO/IEC
  • Coordinate with laboratory engineers and technicians to ensure timely submission of draft and final reports.
  • Track the status of testing jobs and maintain a log of document revisions and distribution.
  • Assist in preparing reports and maintaining records for audits and inspections (internal, external, client).
  • Control and issue documents according to established project and company procedures.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive documentation.
  • Support the Quality Assurance team in updating controlled forms, SOPs, and technical documentation.
  • Respond promptly to document retrieval requests from management and clients.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the construction industry or geotechnical laboratory environment.
