Barre Instructor

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, motivating, and graceful Barre Instructor to join Blaura's founding wellness and movement team.

The ideal candidate blends technical expertise with an elegant teaching style, creating an uplifting, low-impact, and strengthening experience for members.

This role requires excellent cueing, strong body awareness, musicality, and the ability to guide clients through a mindful yet dynamic workout that connects strength, balance, alignment, and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead high-quality Barre classes with strong technique, clear instruction, and safe alignment.
• Deliver an engaging, motivating, and welcoming environment for clients of all levels.
• Provide hands-on or verbal adjustments to support correct form and enhance movement quality.
• Develop class sequences that reflect Blaura's wellness philosophy—graceful, mindful, and purposeful.
• Support clients with modifications for injuries, limitations, or beginner levels.
• Promote proper posture, core strength, and functional movement principles.
• Maintain studio cleanliness, readiness, and equipment organization.
• Build positive member relationships and support retention through exceptional service.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Manager on schedules, events, workshops, and special programs.
• Represent the Blaura brand with professionalism, warmth, and a wellness-driven mindset.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience teaching Barre in studios, wellness centers, or fitness facilities.
• Certified Barre Instructor (Barre Above, Barre Body, Pure Barre, or equivalent recognized certification).
• Strong background in dance, Pilates, gymnastics, or functional training is highly preferred.
• Excellent cueing skills—verbal, visual, and kinesthetic.
• Strong understanding of alignment, anatomy, and safe movement practices.
• Ability to create musical, rhythmic, and well-structured class flows.
• Professional, punctual, and customer-focused.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
