Job Summary
The ICT & AVL Procurement Specialist will manage the end-to-end sourcing and acquisition of Information Technology, Audio-Visual, and Lighting products for resale. This role is a bridge between Finance and Sales, focusing on securing the lowest Landed Costs, maximizing Gross Margins, and ensuring a Lean supply chain for both Technoa and Zenova.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Profitability
Cost Negotiation: Secure "Special Bid" pricing and project-specific discounts from principal vendors and distributors to protect resale margins.
Rebate Management: Track and claim vendor rebates, Marketing Development Funds (MDF), and volume-based incentives.
Market Analysis: Stay updated on price fluctuations in the ICT and AVL sectors.
- Sales Enablement & Quoting
Landed Cost Calculation: Provide the sales team with rapid and accurate landed-cost estimates (including freight, duties, and handling) for client proposals.
Sourcing Strategy: Balance the use of official distribution channels with alternative sourcing to meet client lead times and margin targets.
Back-to-Back Ordering: Execute "Back-to-Back" orders for bespoke projects to eliminate unnecessary inventory holding costs.
- Logistics & Inventory Operations
JIT Procurement: Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) purchasing to minimize warehouse stock value.
Warehouse Oversight: Maintain accurate records of warehouse stock and ensure a smooth flow of items.
Logistics Coordination: Manage the daily schedule for company drivers; coordinate collections, deliveries, and customs clearance documentation.
Stakeholder Updates: Provide real-time delivery tracking updates to the Sales, Project Execution, and Support teams.
RMA & Warranty: Handle Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMA) for faulty units and ensure warranty coverage is transferred to the end-user.
- Vendor Compliance & Relations
Partnership Management: Maintain company portals and certifications to ensure "Gold/Platinum" partner status with key brands.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all imported equipment meets UAE standards, including TDRA (formerly TRA) approvals for wireless/telecom gear.
Desired Candidate ProfileCandidate Requirements
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 1–3 years in a UAE-based IT Reseller or System Integrator.
Market Knowledge: Familiarity with UAE distributors
Commercial Acumen: Solid understanding of Gross Margin, Landed Cost, and Incoterms (EXW, FOB, DDP).
Technical Savvy: Ability to read technical BOQs and suggest cost-effective alternatives.
Core Competencies
Negotiation: Ability to negotiate aggressively with suppliers to protect company margins.
Efficiency: High-speed processing of quotes and orders under tight bid deadlines.
Logistics Planning: Strong ability to organize routes and schedules for local delivery teams.
