We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with hands-on experience in EPC and Oil & Gas projects, having strong knowledge of both Civil and Mechanical drawings. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and updating engineering, fabrication, and construction drawings in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed mechanical and civil drawings, including layouts, sections, and fabrication details for plant, piping, and structural works.
  • Develop GA drawings, isometrics, and civil foundation layouts as per engineering inputs.
  • Coordinate with project engineers and design teams to ensure all drawings meet EPC project requirements.
  • Revise and update drawings based on engineering revisions, site modifications, or client comments.
  • Prepare as-built drawings and maintain drawing registers and document control systems.
  • Provide material take-offs (MTOs) and support procurement and construction teams with technical information.
  • Ensure drawings comply with international standards and codes (ASME, API, ASTM, BS, etc.).
  • Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and structural engineers to ensure alignment of design interfaces.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of drafting experience in EPC / Oil & Gas projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with working knowledge of 3D design software (AutoCAD Plant 3D, SolidWorks, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of both mechanical (piping, equipment layouts, steel structures) and civil (foundations, trenches, structural supports) drawings.
  • Familiarity with UAE and international engineering standards.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently under tight project deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in Hamriyah Free Zone or UAE-based EPC projects.
  • Knowledge of electrical or instrumentation drawings is an added advantage.
