We Are Hiring: Procurement Specialist – Dubai Office

New World Horizon is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our Dubai team and support our growing operations across UAE, Qatar, and KSA.

Job Objective

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing sourcing activities, negotiation, and purchase of materials, products, and services while ensuring best value and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities1. Sourcing & Purchasing

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
  • Request, compare, and analyze quotations from multiple vendors.
  • Negotiate best terms (pricing, last-minute discounts, lead time, payment).
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely execution.
  • Send inquiries to suppliers as requested by the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, delivery, and vendor performance.

2. Supplier Management

  • Maintain and update the AVL for sourcing.
  • Build and sustain strong supplier relationships.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews.
  • Resolve supplier issues and delivery discrepancies.
  • Explore new and competitive sourcing alternatives.

3. Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with sales, accounts, and logistics teams.
  • Provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Follow up with suppliers for required documents.
  • Prepare POs using company software and send to suppliers.

4. Market Analysis

  • Monitor pricing trends and market conditions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities proactively.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.
  • Maintain complete documentation for procurement files and reports.
  • Support internal audits with required documentation.

6. Sales Support

  • Promote and support sales of in-stock inventory items.
  • Identify customers and RFQs that can be fulfilled using available stock.
  • Help the sales team with pricing and availability updates.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of procurement experience (local & international sourcing preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
