We are looking to hire Senior Contracts Engineer

For Orient House Development in UAE

Location / Abu Dhabi Emirate

Main Responsibilities:

Review, interpret, and manage all project contracts, including client agreements, subcontractor contracts, and purchase orders.

Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts and agreements.

Monitor contractual obligations, timelines, and deliverables to ensure compliance.

Assess risks, variations, claims, and disputes, providing recommendations and mitigation measures.

Prepare and submit variation orders, claims, and correspondence with clients and subcontractors.

Collaborate with project teams, procurement, and legal departments on contractual and commercial matters.

Ensure all contracts are aligned with company policies, legal requirements, and client requirements.

Maintain and update contract records, registers, and documentation.

Support project managers in contract interpretation, claims resolution, and financial reconciliation.

Mentor junior contracts engineers and support their development in contract management practices.

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in contracts management for construction or infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, local standard contracts) and commercial principles.

Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent knowledge of contract administration, risk management, and claims handling.

Ability to interpret project drawings, specifications, and contractual clauses.

Good communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
