What To Expect
Corporate and Investment Banking covers two specialisms within our business – Global Corporate and Investment Banking products.

Our coverage team is responsible for building strong client relationships to ensure we provide the best possible service. To do this, our coverage teams need to develop an in-depth understanding of a client's business, their needs and how MUFG can best help them.

On the Product side, we have a number of different teams, each of which specialises in a specific financing product such as Aviation, Commodity Finance, Corporate Advisory, Leveraged Finance, Project Finance and Securitisation.

• Project finance advisory and debt involves structuring and securing, non-recourse financing for large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects.
• Corporate Advisory involves (i) supporting our clients in transformational M&A / event driven financings, and (ii) providing advisory services to clients on capital structure, debt, and credit ratings.
• Financial Institutions Group (FIG) provides a wide range of services through our commercial, trust banking and securities services, drawing on the global capabilities of MUFG. MUFG has developed deep relationships with banks and the wider financial sector in both developed and emerging markets across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Clients include banks, asset managers, insurers, central banks, sovereign wealth funds, FinTech firms and consumer finance businesses.

Our 18-month Analyst Programme starts with a comprehensive training programme designed to develop a sound understanding of our product lines, our clients and our business strategies. You will join the programme in Dubai and as part of the induction you get the opportunity to head to London for 5 weeks.

Equipped with newfound knowledge, you will have the opportunity to complete three rotations across three areas across corporate and investment banking as described above to help you decide which product you would like to specialise in.

The interactive programme, will allow you to

• Gain in-depth understanding of different financial products and markets by attending a bespoke technical training. Supplemental training will be provided throughout the 18 months
• Experience what it's really like to work in global investment banking by gaining hands-on work experience
• Build your networks both internally and externally by gaining exposure to employees from all levels of the organisation
