Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site ID Architect with 7+ years of experience to oversee the implementation of interior design projects on-site, ensuring that design intent, quality, and timelines are met. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, experience in interior fit-outs, and a deep understanding of Dubai's regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Coordination & Supervision

  • Oversee the execution of interior design projects, ensuring compliance with approved designs and specifications.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure smooth site operations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control.
  • Ensure adherence to Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and other local authority regulations.
  • Manage material selection and approvals, ensuring that they align with the design intent and client expectations.

Design Implementation & Quality Control

  • Interpret and enforce design intent throughout all project phases, from site preparation to final installation.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups before installation.
  • Ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship, finishing, and detailing on-site.
  • Identify and address design discrepancies or challenges and provide practical solutions.

Project Management & Communication

  • Liaise with the design team, project managers, and clients to align site execution with design vision.
  • Maintain clear and consistent documentation of site progress, changes, and approvals.
  • Prepare and present site reports, progress updates, and punch lists to stakeholders.
  • Assist in project handover, snagging, and final completion.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in site-based interior design supervision in Dubai.
  • Strong knowledge of interior fit-out, materials, and finishing details.
  • Familiarity with Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, and other local authority regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications and ensure proper implementation on-site.
  • UAE driving license preferred.
