About Your Team

This position reports directly to the Stores Manager and indirectly to the Project Manager. You'll work closely with Procurement, Commercial, QA/QC, Planning, and Site Execution teams while representing the Stores function in client and consultant meetings.

Your Role

As a Stores Supervisor, you will:

• Receive and verify incoming deliveries, cross-checking materials against approved LPOs and delivery documents.
• Enter receipt and issue data into inventory systems (HIVE, BuildSmart), ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Tag materials with project identifiers and QA/QC codes as required.
• Support daily issuance of materials to site teams based on Material Requisition Notes (MRNs).
• Maintain a well-organized stores layout, with clear segregation of MEP materials by category and status.
• Monitor held stock, slow-moving items, and coordinate with supervisors for inventory optimization.
• Ensure supporting documentation (GRNs, delivery notes, submittals) is archived digitally and physically.
• Assist in stock counts and reconcile system vs physical inventory.
• Guide Storekeepers on correct receiving, labeling, and stacking practices.
• Report safety, space, or material handling issues to the Stores Supervisor promptly.
• Communicate material issues, shortages, or mismatches to Procurement or Planning when directed.
• Maintain a clean and safety-compliant working environment.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

1. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in stores operations, with some leadership or team lead exposure.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Familiarity with MEP material types and their handling needs
• Attention to detail in documentation and data entry
• Understanding of store processes and system updates
• Ability to lead by example and guide junior staff
• Comfortable using MS Excel and ERP-based inventory platforms

Desirable:

• Certificate or hands-on training in stores, warehousing, or construction materials
• Exposure to stock variance reporting and corrective actions
• Basic understanding of QA/QC and tagging procedures
