Key Responsibilities

  • Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys in Arabic and English to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Translate high-level business needs into detailed technical specifications and use cases.

  • Analyze complex data sets and business processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Documentation & Reporting:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Ensure accurate translation of technical documents and user manuals from English to Arabic (and vice versa) to ensure alignment across all departments.

  • Develop localized reports and dashboards for regional management.

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Arabic-speaking business units and English-speaking technical/development teams.
  • Manage expectations and facilitate negotiations between conflicting stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.

  • Present insights and project updates to senior leadership in the preferred language of the audience.

  • Solution Delivery & Testing:

  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure the proposed solution meets the business requirements.
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including the creation of test scripts in Arabic for local end-users.
  • Coordinate training sessions and prepare training materials for Arabic-speaking staff to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an asset.
  • SQL or basic database querying skills.

Key Competencies:

  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Driving License in UAE:

Desirable but not mandatory

Languages:

  • Native/Fluent Arabic: Must have professional proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking. Ability to understand technical terminology in Arabic is a plus.
  • Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Experience:

Over 5 10 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Experience working in the Abu Dhabi market is highly desirable.
