Our client is a leading international humanitarian and logistics organization seeking a Procurement Officer to be based in Dubai.
The role is responsible for planning, executing, and supporting procurement activities from sourcing to delivery, ensuring effective and compliant supply chain operations across regional programs, global fleet, and logistics operations.

Position: Procurement Officer

Contract: 12 months extendable

Budget: AED 10000

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely availability of goods and services with optimal pricing and quality, in alignment with procurement standards and operational needs.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, vendor evaluation, PO creation, order follow-up, receipt confirmation, and invoice coordination.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, support vendor registration and due diligence, and contribute to framework agreements and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Oversee transport coordination, customs clearance, shipment tracking, and resolution of logistics issues.
  • Ensure full compliance with procurement policies, documentation standards, ERP usage, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare analytical and operational reports, support KPI tracking, and contribute to performance management of procurement and fleet operations.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Fleet, IT, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective operational alignment.
  • Provide support during emergency operations and be available for deployment when required.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high-volume procurement, with at least 3 years in international environments.
  • Experience in tactical and operational procurement; private sector experience is an advantage.
  • Professional procurement certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of customs processes, international procurement practices, and ERP systems.
