1. Job Description

As a Power BI, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to solve complex problems and provide actionable insights using Data Lake and Power BI. You will work closely with cross-functional Data & Business teams to leverage data in innovative ways, helping the organization make informed decisions and optimize processes. You will use various charts/graphs and visualization techniquests to present business KPIs using Power BI. Ability to Present your insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders is important. Ensuring data accuracy and reliability, resolving inconsistencies, and collaborating with teams to improve data processes are crucial. Additionally, staying updated with data analysis techniques and contributing to process improvement and innovation is expected

2. Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Preparation:

• Collect and preprocess data from various sources including internal & external data sources, ensuring data quality and integrity for specific use cases.
• Data must be Clean, transform, and wrangle to make it suitable for analysis.

Data Modeling & Visualization

• Build efficient data models in Power BI and develop intuitive dashboards and reports that enable stakeholders to gain insights.
• This includes utilizing DAX functions to perform calculations, rankings, and filtering.

Deployment and Integration:

• Deploy models into production systems, collaborating with software engineers.
• Integrate models into decision-making processes and applications.

Data Quality Assurance:

• Ensure data accuracy and reliability by identifying and resolving inconsistencies in the datasets.
• Use Power BI features to monitor data quality and establish best practices for data governance.

Stakeholder Communication

• Present complex findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that insights are easy to understand and actionable.

Communication and Visualization:

• Communicate findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Create appealing data visualizations and reports using Power BI to present results effectively.

Administration

• Ability to manage and update the gateway, create connections (data sources), and manage user roles and access.
• Ensure secure and efficient data transfer between on-premises data sources and Power BI services.

Continuous Learning and Improvement:

• Stay updated on the latest developments in Power BI and data analysis techniques, and proactively contribute to process improvement initiatives.

3. Required Skills & Qualification Preference

• Educational background: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is typically required.
• Technical skills: Should have a strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles and proficiency in Power BI and other data tools. Experience with SQL, DAX, and other data languages is also important.
• Experience: This includes creating dashboard design and reports using Power BI and experience with data modelling, ETL processes.
• Problem-solving skills: Power BI developers often encounter complex data-related problems that require innovative solutions. Strong problem-solving skills are therefore essential.
• Attention to detail: Given the importance of data accuracy they should be able to spot errors or inconsistencies in data and correct them.
• Communication skills: Power BI developers often need to collaborate with various stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and data scientists. Strong communication skills are therefore important.

4. Preferred Experience (Good to Have)

• Power Automate experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12, AED14,000.00 per month
