Reports To:
QC Supervisor / QA-QC Manager

Job Purpose:

To perform inspection and quality control activities on piping, welding, and mechanical works in accordance with ARAMCO standards, project specifications, and approved procedures, ensuring full compliance and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspection and verification of piping fabrication, fit-up, and welding as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure all work meets
    Saudi ARAMCO standards and procedures (SAEP / SAES / SAMSS)
    .
  • Verify welder qualifications, WPS, PQR, and welding consumables before work commencement.
  • Review and interpret drawings, isometrics, and material traceability records.
  • Monitor NDE activities and review test results.
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of completed works before hydrotesting.
  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain ITP checklists, and ensure proper documentation for QA/QC records.
  • Coordinate with ARAMCO representatives for hold-point and witness inspections.
  • Identify and report non-conformities, assist in corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure adherence to company and client HSE and quality procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Welding Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum
    5–10 years' experience
    in QC inspection for piping/welding in oil & gas projects.
  • Saudi ARAMCO approval/certification
    (Mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, and ARAMCO standards.
  • Experience with fabrication yards or EPC environments.
  • Proficient in reading drawings, material codes, and NDT processes.
