Job Summary:

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Implement and monitor QA/QC plans and procedures on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
  • Contractor Coordination: Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to ensure all construction activities meet the required quality standards.
  • Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections, tests, and audits of materials and construction processes to identify and address quality issues promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control processes. Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to project management.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify, report, and resolve any non-conformances or quality issues in a timely manner to avoid project delays.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that QA/QC standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience and Skills:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry, with a strong focus on high-rise building projects.
  3. Contracting Experience: Proven experience working with contractors and subcontractors on large-scale construction projects.

Certifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, or equivalent are preferred.
