Key Responsibilities

  • Render accurate interpretations of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds
  • Communicate diagnostic findings and treatment recommendations clearly to referring physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and formulate treatment plans
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols in all imaging procedures
  • Mentor and provide leadership to junior radiology staff and trainees
  • Engage in professional development and continuing education to remain current with advancements in the field

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
  • Board certification in the field of Radiology
  • Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the relevant state
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnostic radiology, with experience in a consultant role preferred
  • Proficient in the interpretation of a wide range of imaging modalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional education and staying abreast of emerging trends in radiology
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment
