Position Title Assistant Plumber Reports to Plumber Supervisor

Division Plumbing Grade

Department P&E

Job Purpose
Asst. Plumber will maintain water supply system of all airport buildings; carry out daily routine checks of water

supply system, drainage and its fault rectification. Also maintain RO plant, STP and water hydrant line system

repair and routine checks.

Functional Accountabilities

Financial

Process Responsible for the water supply to all airport buildings including GA area-

Carryout the daily routine checks and fault rectification of the plumbing

installations.

Responsible for the daily operation of the bore wells and RO-Plant and STP and its

chemical dozing and periodic maintenance of the related equipment.

Should have the Good knowledge in domestic water supply system of buildings,

water storage tanks, bore well operations, High pressure fire hydrant pumps and

pipe installations, domestic water supply pumps and sewage treatment systems-

Should be capable to work independently and can supervise other staff.

Should have the Good knowledge in domestic water supply system of buildings, water

storage system, bore well operations, High pressure fire hydrant system, domestic water

supply pumps and sewage treatment systems.

To comply with the relevant safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Aerodrome

Operations Manual and Safety Management System and any other instructions or notices issued by Ras

Al Khaimah International Airport.

To comply with the safety requirements detailed within their training.

To advise their Head of Department and the Airport Duty Officer team of any safety occurrence or

system failure and to identify and report any situation of potential risk or concern affecting safety via

one of the following means.

Report directly to the Safety Department or an immediate supervisor.

Submitting an Accident/ Incident Report.

Support safety audits as and investigations as they occur.
