The Implementation Manager is responsible for leading the full technical integration and implementation cycle for merchants on Sonect/Finhub's acquiring and merchant wallet platform. The role ensures merchants are configured correctly, integrated successfully, tested thoroughly, and launched smoothly into production.

  1. Key Responsibilities


• Provision MIDs and API Keys on the acquiring gateway.


• Configure Callback URLs and Domain Whitelisting.


• Set up risk rules (Geo, Velocity, BIN restrictions).


• Support integration via HPP/API and mobile SDKs.


• Guide merchants through sandbox testing: auth, settlement, refunds, callbacks.


• Assist with payment flow logic, error handling, and retries.


• Configure processing limits, volumes, daily caps, and velocity rules.


• Troubleshoot API, callback, and routing errors.


• Maintain documentation of all integration steps.

B. Go-Live Readiness & Launch Management


• Manage production MID mapping.


• Conduct smoke testing in production.


• Validate callback delivery and endpoint checks.


• Coordinate final approvals with Risk, Operations, and Acquirers.


• Oversee go-live and provide monitoring during the first 24–48 hours.


• Validate first settlement and payout mapping.


• Deliver Go-Live Handover Pack to support and operations.

C. Stakeholder Coordination


• Work directly with merchant technical teams for integration timelines.


• Coordinate internally with R&D, Acquiring, BFF, and API teams.


• Provide weekly updates on integration progress.


• Maintain configuration documentation for audits.


• Train merchant teams on best integration practices.

D. Operational Responsibilities


• Maintain a dashboard for technical onboarding and go-live tracking.


• Track SLA for onboarding and integration milestones.


• Ensure change-management compliance for configuration updates.


• Support acquirer and scheme audits as needed.

  1. Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory:


• 3–5 years of experience in acquiring integrations, merchant wallet systems, or PSP onboarding.


• Strong knowledge of API integration, webhooks, routing, settlement flows, MIDs, BINs, and MCCs.


• Hands-on experience with HPP/API flows, 3DS, callback logic, and risk rule configuration.


• Proficiency with Postman, API logs, and gateway dashboards.


• Visa/Mastercard scheme exposure.


• Understanding of merchant checkout, settlement, and payout flows.


• Experience with high-risk industries (crypto, gaming, forex).


• Familiarity with fraud detection and monitoring.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.


• Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.


• Ability to manage multiple merchant integrations simultaneously.


• Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline.


• Highly self-driven in a remote environment.

Technical KPIs:


• Accurate MID/API configuration.


• Callback success rate post-launch.


• Low integration defect rate.

Delivery KPIs:


• Timely completion of integration and launch milestones.


• Smooth go-live without operational disruptions.


• UAT completion within SLA.

Operational KPIs:


• Minimal post-launch issues.


• Zero settlement or payout mapping errors.


• Full documentation readiness for audits.
