About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to join our team in Al Ain. As a Consultant Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to individuals with physical disabilities or impairments. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and manage patients' progress towards optimum physical functionality and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat patients with various physical disabilities or impairments.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patients' medical history, symptoms, and goals.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation nurses, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and follow-up assessments to monitor patients' progress.
- Educate patients and their families about the treatment methods and techniques used in their rehabilitation program.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records and document all patient care activities.
- Stay current with developments in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation and participate in continuous medical education and training activities.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or equivalent in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Minimum 7 years of clinical experience in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
- Experience in managing patients with a wide range of physical disabilities or impairments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
