Role Description:

The Data Scientist is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines along with machine learning models and advanced analytical solutions that power our analytics and AI initiatives. This role enables seamless movement, transformation, and availability of data across the organization, ensuring it is accurate, timely, and ready for use in downstream systems.. This role works closely with data stewards, business leads, and data architects to deliver AI use cases aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities


• Develop and maintain scalable, cloud-native data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage


• Collaborate with data stewards, data scientists, and business lead to understand data requirements


• Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across all data flows
• Optimize ETL processes to support prioritized business use cases


• Implement data integration with internal systems and external sources


• Monitor pipeline performance and address bottlenecks and errors


• Work with the Data & AI Architect on architecture alignment


• Contribute to documentation, version control, and automation of data workflows


• Work with business leads (product owners) and business stakeholders to frame problems and identify opportunities


• Clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured data


• Design experiments and evaluate model performance using statistical techniques


• Collaborate with MLOps for model deployment and monitoring


• Document workflows, feature engineering pipelines, and outcomes clearly

Qualifications & Experience


• 6–7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics


• Proficient in Python (e.g., scikit-learn, pandas), SQL, and ML frameworks


• Familiarity with cloud services for data (e.g., Databricks, Azure Data Factory)


• Experience working with cloud-based ML environments (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, etc.)


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
