Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai for a Marine Mason. The Marine Mason will be responsible for performing masonry work specific to marine structures, maintaining and repairing ship surfaces, and ensuring the durability of marine constructions. Daily tasks include cutting, shaping, and laying materials, assisting with structural repairs, and collaborating with other technicians to deliver high-quality work. The Marine Mason is expected to adhere to safety protocols and project timelines, working in diverse environments across shipyards and marine vessels.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in masonry techniques, including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
  • Experience with construction and repair of marine structures, such as hulls and decks.
  • Understanding of marine materials and their handling, including waterproof adhesives and sealants.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in shipyards and marine environments.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Physical ability to handle demanding, on-site tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Prior experience in a similar role and/or certifications in masonry or marine engineering are advantageous.
