Position Summary

Asnani Steel Industries LLC is a leading provider of high-quality steel products in the UAE. The Quality Control Assistant supports the QC team by performing inspections, tests, and administrative tasks to ensure products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards. This role helps maintain compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Inspection & Testing

· Assist in conducting routine inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.

· Perform basic laboratory or field tests following standardized procedures.

· Accurately record test results and report any deviations or non-conformities.

· Prepare and label samples for testing as needed.

Documentation & Reporting

· Maintain clear and organized quality records, logs, and documentation.

· Input test data into QC systems or databases with a high level of accuracy.

· Assist in generating QC reports for internal review and audits.

· Support document control activities such as updating forms, checklists, and SOPs.

Compliance & Process Support

· Ensure compliance with company quality policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations.

· Assist in calibrating and maintaining QC tools and equipment.

· Participate in internal audits, corrective action activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Communicate quality issues promptly to supervisors and production teams.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

· Diplomat/ Bachelor's required, or related field preferred.

· Prior experience in quality control, inspection, or production environment is a plus

· NDT Level-2 certificate is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

· Basic understanding of quality control principles and inspection methods.

· Ability to read and interpret specifications, labels, and simple technical documents.

· Good communication and organizational skills.

· Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, data entry systems).

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Contract length: 24 months
