Senior Program Specialist

Job Objective
The Senior Program Specialist is responsible for delivering effective, timely and quality support for multiple programs/ projects in the creation and updating of program resource allocation analysis, program plans & documentation such as but not limited to Charter, PMP and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
Key Accountabilities
- Handles Integrated Master Schedule Management by preparing IMS for responsible Programs / Projects, Coordinates with functions for IMS updates, Updates the IMS on EPM and publish accordingly, Report to PM on project variances & provide mitigation plan
- Manages the Program Documentation by preparing program documents (Charter, PMP, Registers etc.), reviews cycle and approvals from functions/sponsors, tracks and makes changes through the CR Process, Manages the EPM system with comprehensive information, ensures up to date Program Documentation compliance
- Tracks, monitors Special Projects & escalates slippage (schedule & budget) & creates RTG Plan
- Coordinates with all Base Functions for data submission & consolidation of audit reports & ensures all evidence are ready prior to Audit date
- Maintains Audit feedback and response
- Ensures Sub-contracts are valid and latest copy available
- Supports revision of SOW for existing Subcontracts (if applicable)
- Supports development SOW for new Subcontracts
- Provides SR Request support
- Support PMO HQ for data, reports & adhoc assignments
- Effectively manages work time and priorities to achieve set targets.
- Effectively communicates when targets are not achieved to the management for further direction.
- Coordinates with document owners and/or Subject Matter Experts to ensure documents meet the stated requirements ensuring the documents are reviewed and published in a timely manner
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Implements approved departmental policies and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and standardized manner.
- Continuously researches and leverages benchmarks and best practices to drive and exploit continuous improvement within PMO.
- Plays an active part in department improvement events.
- Prepares statements timely and accurately to meet AMMROC and departmental requirements, policies and standards as required.
- Actively promotes and supports adherence to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls, emphasizing employee safety, legislative compliance and to promote a responsible environmental attitude.
- Contributes to the identification and promotion of change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practices.
- Identifies opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practices and changes in the competitive environment.
- Ensures that accountabilities for the implementation of improvement opportunities are completed within the assigned deadlines.
- Performs other related duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/ Engineering/ IT discipline or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO / Scheduling working experience preferably within the Aerospace Industry
- Holding a program/project management professional certification is a plus.
English Language Communication Skills:
- IELTS Band Score of 6.5
