AI/ML & IoT Systems Engineer (Python, NLP, Vision, Automation)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled AI/ML & IoT Systems Engineer who can build intelligent, real-time, and fully automated AI systems across multiple domains including computer vision, NLP, predictive analytics, and IoT device automation.

Your role will be to design and implement an AI layer that works seamlessly with our Python-based backend, Odoo APIs, and AWS cloud infrastructure. You will develop smart systems that respond to user queries, process device data, detect anomalies from live video or sensor feeds, and trigger automated actions in connected IoT hardware.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working across AI development, edge computing, backend Python APIs, and IoT system integration, with the ability to architect end-to-end intelligent solutions.

Key Responsibilities

AI & NLP Systems

  • Build natural-language query understanding using Python-based NLP/LLM models (OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain).

  • Develop AI-driven product search, recommendation engines, and smart responses.

  • Implement conversational or instruction-following AI modules for dynamic business logic.

Real-Time Computer Vision

  • Implement temperature anomaly detection or other anomaly classification in live camera feeds.

  • Build pipelines for image/video processing using OpenCV, YOLO, or other deep learning models.

  • Integrate real-time monitoring with alert systems and device triggers.

IoT & Smart Automation

  • Develop smart decision layers that trigger device actions based on current environmental conditions, sensor data, or AI inference.

  • Create rule-based + AI-enhanced automation flows for smart environments.

Quotation & Business Intelligence AI

  • Build an AI-powered quotation generator using past data and custom pricing logic.

  • Integrate AI logic with Odoo API for product, customer, and historical data retrieval.

  • Develop predictive models for pricing, demand, or operational insights.

Backend Development (Python)

  • Connect to internal APIs, databases, and cloud services.

  • Optimize and deploy Python modules for scalability and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

Core Technical Expertise

  • 3+ years hands-on experience in Python (advanced level)

  • Strong experience with AI/ML frameworks and deep learning models

  • Experience with OpenAI, HuggingFace Transformers, or similar LLM platforms

  • Experience with computer vision (OpenCV, YOLO, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

  • Experience with IoT communication protocols

  • Strong understanding of FastAPI or Flask

  • Experience with REST API integration (e.g., Odoo APIs)

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience building smart automation workflows

  • Experience with time-series data analysis

  • Experience with predictive maintenance systems
