The Senior Accountant will oversee the company's accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing reconciliations, supporting audits, and contributing to process improvements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced with accounting principles and financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, intercompany, etc.).
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes with financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax filings and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Monitor internal controls and recommend improvements to financial processes.
  • Supervise or review the work of junior accountants and accounting staff.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Semi qualified CA and bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CA preferred).
  • 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
