About the Role

The Creekside Hotel is seeking a warm, polished, and service-oriented
Hostess
to be the welcoming face of our F&B outlets. You will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and delightful dining experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Welcome & Seating

  • Greet all guests with genuine warmth, professionalism, and a friendly smile.
  • Manage restaurant reservations, seating plans, and table rotations efficiently.
  • Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortably settled.
  • Maintain the entrance and host/hostess desk area in an organized and presentable manner.

Guest Experience & Communication

  • Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with care and accuracy.
  • Provide information about menu items, promotions, and restaurant offerings.
  • Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure a smooth dining flow.
  • Anticipate guest needs and support service staff during peak periods.

Reservation & System Management

  • Manage reservations using the hotel's booking system or designated software.
  • Maintain an updated waitlist and communicate waiting times clearly.
  • Confirm bookings, handle modifications, and ensure accurate guest profiles.

Operational Support

  • Assist with menu distribution, cleaning tasks, and front-of-house organization when required.
  • Support the F&B team during events, busy shifts, and themed promotions.
  • Uphold all hygiene, safety, and brand standards in the restaurant.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience as a Hostess or in a guest-facing F&B role (hotel experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance with a friendly, confident, and engaging attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed in fast-paced environments.
  • Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
