About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Investment Manager
to lead the investment strategy and portfolio management for the Waves Group of Companies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
U.S. stock markets
,
equities trading
, and
global investment strategies
, with a proven ability to identify and execute profitable opportunities across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities
Investment Strategy & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of investment opportunities in UAE and international markets, including the
    U.S. stock market
    .
  • Evaluate financial data, company performance, and equity trends to support strategic investment decisions.
  • Develop detailed financial models, market forecasts, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Identify emerging sectors, growth opportunities, and potential investment risks.

Portfolio Management

  • Manage and monitor diversified portfolios, focusing on
    U.S. equities
    , global markets, and regional investments.
  • Analyze portfolio performance and provide recommendations to enhance returns and mitigate risk.
  • Oversee execution of investments, including IPOs, private placements, and corporate actions.

Financial Oversight

  • Ensure full compliance with investment regulations and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to align portfolio outcomes with company objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, brokers, and financial institutions globally.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay up to date with global market developments, especially
    U.S. equity market trends
    , macroeconomic shifts, and regulatory updates.
  • Attend analyst briefings, investor calls, and market events to identify opportunities and maintain strategic awareness.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of proven experience
    in investment management, portfolio analysis, or equity research, ideally within a conglomerate or investment-focused organization.
  • Strong understanding of
    U.S. stock markets
    , equity instruments, and global capital markets.
  • Proven expertise in
    financial modeling, forecasting, and investment analysis
    .
  • Excellent analytical, presentation, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
