We are seeking an enthusiastic, reflective, and skilled Teacher of Mathematics to join our secondary team. In the first year the successful candidate will teach Grades 6, 7, and 8 and will play an active role in shaping curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment during the school s founding phase.

Experience of international programmes is desirable, and prior experience of the International Baccalaureate, particularly within the Middle Years Programme, would be an advantage. A strong understanding of conceptual, inquiry-led mathematics teaching, high-quality classroom practice, and collaboration is essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics teaching with clear evidence of student progress
  • Design engaging learning experiences that develop conceptual understanding, reasoning, and problem-solving
  • Contribute to the development of an exciting interdisciplinary curriculum
  • Plan for inclusion, challenge, and support to ensure all learners can succeed
  • Use assessment and feedback effectively to support progress, reflection, and mathematical thinking
  • Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and relationships
  • Contribute to co-curricular activities, enrichment opportunities, and wider school life
  • Work collaboratively within the secondary team and across subject areas
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Engage in professional learning and contribute to ongoing school improvement
Desired Candidate Profile

Hold a recognised teaching qualification and meet KHDA teacher requirements

Have experience teaching Mathematics at lower secondary level

Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice

Be reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement

Share a strong commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing

Enjoy working as part of a founding team and contributing to school development

Be willing to offer ECAs and support enrichment opportunities, including camps and community initiatives

Be motivated by future leadership opportunities as the school grows
