Assistant Accountant cum Cashier

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant cum Cashier to manage daily accounting support tasks along with cash handling responsibilities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, timely transactions, and efficient support to the accounts department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations
  • Handle cash receipts and payments accurately
  • Maintain cash books and daily cash reports
  • Process invoices, vouchers, and expense claims
  • Reconcile cash balances and bank statements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
  • Assist in audits and compliance-related tasks

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant or Cashier preferred
  • Knowledge in accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and responsibility
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
