QHSE officer ensures the implementation of QHSE policies, procedures, and standards in the labor camp to provide a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly living and working environment for all camp residents and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. QHSE Policy Implementation: Implement and maintain QHSE policies, procedures, and standards in the labor camp.

  2. Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement control measures to mitigate risks.

  3. Safety Training and Induction: Provide safety training and induction to all new camp residents and employees.

  4. Accident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate all accidents and incidents in the camp, and report to management and relevant authorities.

  5. Environmental Management: Ensure the camp's environmental management system is implemented, and waste management, water conservation, and energy efficiency measures are in place.

  6. Health and Hygiene: Ensure the camp's health and hygiene standards are maintained, including sanitation, food handling, and waste disposal.

  7. Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with relevant QHSE laws, regulations, and standards, and participate in internal and external audits.

  8. Emergency Preparedness and Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, and conduct regular drills and training exercises.

  9. Communication and Awareness: Promote QHSE awareness among camp residents and employees, and communicate QHSE policies and procedures.

  10. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate QHSE records, including incident reports, training records, and audit results, and submit regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in QHSE, preferably in a Camp or Catering industry

  • QHSE certifications, such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001

  • Food Safety Level 4

  • Strong knowledge of QHSE laws, regulations, and standards

  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4, AED5,000.00 per month
