Full job description

The Auto Diagnostic Technician is responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced diagnostics and fault analysis on vehicles.
  • Recommend and carry out appropriate repairs.
  • Support workshop staff and service advisors with technical guidance.
  • Ensure accurate service pricing and repair estimates.
  • Maintain records of diagnostics, repairs, and parts requirements.
  • Adhere to manufacturer standards, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

  • Automotive, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
  • 3–5 years' experience in automotive diagnostics.
  • Strong knowledge of modern automotive systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality service.
