Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled ICT / ELV - Site Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this site-based role, you will lead ICT/ELV engineering projects, oversee system designs, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Develop and review ICT/ELV system designs for industrial and construction projects.
• Review technical documents, shop drawings, and material submittals for telecom and ELV systems including Public Address, CCTV, Access Control, Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Security Screening, Master Clock, Structured Cabling, Display, Wireless Data, IP Telephony, AV system and Data Communication systems.
• Conduct on-site inspections and troubleshoot complex electrical/ ELV issues
• Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Attend technical coordination meetings, ensuring all authority approvals and permits are available for site execution.
• Conduct regular site meetings with contractors to resolve issues, monitor progress, and mitigate delays.
• Participate in inspections, raise non-conformance reports, and manage quality compliance with project standards.
• Ensure safety standards and safe practices are followed on-site.
• Support the Resident Engineer/ Project director in managing and supervising telecom, security, and ELV works.
• Perform security surveys, audit, and provide improvement recommendations.
• Prepare reports, test procedures, and oversee testing and commissioning activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Implement and oversee safety protocols for installations and maintenance
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EEE / Electronics Engineering; Master's degree preferred
• Professional Engineering (PE) or equivalent
• Over 12 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on site-based projects
• Strong knowledge of systems such as Fire Alarm, HRMS, GRMS, CBS, PAVA, CCTV, ACS, and AV.
• Understanding of low-current systems: Access Control, Intercoms, Gate Barriers, Intruder Alarm, and Network Configuration.
• Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• Proven experience in industrial or construction environments
• Strong knowledge of electrical/ secuirty/ ELV codes and standards
• Expertise in ELV/Secuirty system design and analysis
• Experience with industrial control systems
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability practices
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel and work on-site as required
• UAE Driving License required.
