Job Summary

The
Sales & Marketing Officer
supports the execution of EPZR's sales and marketing strategies under the direction of the Sales & Marketing Director. The role focuses on
day-to-day implementation
,
sales coordination
,
campaign execution
, and
market engagement
to support revenue growth, brand visibility, and visitor engagement.

The officer will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure EPZR's values, experiences, products, and services are effectively promoted in line with the zoo's mission and vision.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Support Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of sales strategies and initiatives set by the Sales & Marketing Director
  • Assist in achieving ticket sales, group bookings, memberships, events, and corporate sales targets
  • Coordinate with schools, tour operators, travel agencies, corporates, and government entities
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow-ups for group and corporate bookings
  • Maintain sales records, client databases, and basic performance reports
  • Support on-site sales activities during events, promotions, and peak seasons

Marketing Execution Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns across digital and offline platforms
  • Support social media posting, content coordination, and basic engagement monitoring
  • Coordinate with designers, printers, and agencies for marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, videos, and photos
  • Assist in managing website updates, event promotions, and basic SEO coordination
  • Support influencer visits, campaigns, and marketing activations as required
  • Collect visitor feedback, market trends, and competitor information

Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with internal departments (Operations, Education, Zoological, F&B, Resort, Finance) to support promotions and campaigns
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly sales and marketing performance reports
  • Track KPIs such as ticket sales, group bookings, prepaid tickets, and campaign results
  • Ensure marketing activities follow brand guidelines and SOPs
  • Support the Director in organizing events, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings

Partnerships & Outreach

  • Assist in identifying partnership, sponsorship, and co-branding opportunities
  • Support communication with travel agencies, schools, corporates, and community partners
  • Assist in coordination with PR agencies, media outlets, and event organizers
  • Support meetings and site visits with stakeholders and government entities when required

Job RequirementsExperience

  • 2-4 years of experience
    in sales or marketing
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic knowledge of social media and digital marketing
  • Proficient in
    MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with
    CRM tools
    (HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce)
  • Experience with
    marketing and content tools
    (Canva, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite)
  • Experience in tourism, leisure, hospitality, retail, or attractions is an advantage

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field
