Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all financial functions related to real estate operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for property portfolios and development projects.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support property acquisition, development, leasing, and asset management.
  • Oversee cash flow management, project financing, and capital allocation across real estate assets.
  • Analyze investment opportunities, feasibility studies, ROI, IRR, NPV, and sensitivity analyses for new developments and acquisitions.
  • Manage relationships with banks, investors, lenders, and joint venture partners.
  • Ensure compliance with real estate regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.
  • Oversee audits, tax structuring, and financial due diligence for property transactions.
  • Monitor operating expenses, rental income, and property-level performance to maximize profitability.
  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, ensuring strong internal controls and reporting accuracy.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support growth and portfolio optimization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of
    7 years of progressive experience
    in real estate finance, with senior-level or director experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of real estate financial models, property valuation, and investment analysis.
  • Proven experience with development financing, mortgages, construction loans, and refinancing.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CFA, ACCA, or MRICS is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with metropolitan-scale real estate portfolios or mixed-use developments.
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills; experience with real estate or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to support strategic and investment decisions.
