Job description:

The Retail Manager – Luxury Brands, will take full ownership of Nous and Pylones, acting as the strategic and operational leader for both brands. This role encompasses driving business growth, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering financial objectives. The Retail Manager will also oversee staff development and be responsible for the strategic positioning and performance of both brands.

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability for Nous and Pylones.
  • Analyze market trends and customer preferences to ensure both brands remain competitive and innovative.
  • Lead initiatives for store expansions, relocations, or other major operational changes.

Full Business Ownership:

  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for all aspects of Nous and Pylones, from daily operations to long-term planning.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align brand strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Represent Nous and Pylones in cross-functional meetings and provide regular updates on performance and plans.

Store Operations Management:

  • Work closely with store managers to ensure both stores stores operate efficiently, delivering exceptional service while adhering to company policies and standards.
  • Monitor KPIs, including sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency, and implement corrective actions when needed.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Inspire and lead store teams to exceed sales and service goals.
  • Identify talent and implement training programs to nurture future leaders within both brands.
  • Conduct regular staff evaluations and foster a positive, collaborative work environment.

Financial Management:

  • Manage budgets for Nous and Pylones, ensuring financial health and profitability.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality or customer experience.
  • Provide accurate sales and financial reporting to senior management.

Inventory and Merchandising:

  • Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with the buying and merchandising team to stay ahead of the curve in product sourcing, focusing on hype products, hard-to-attain items, and fast-moving products to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create compelling store displays that reflect the unique identities of Nous and Pylones.

Customer Experience:

  • Champion a customer-centric culture across both brands, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints effectively, maintaining high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
