Lead data science lab sessions that are aligned with curriculum objectives.
Demonstrate proficiency in data acquisition methods, data cleaning and manipulation techniques (e.g., Pandas, NumPy), data analysis approaches (statistical methods, machine learning algorithms), and data visualization technologies and tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
Provide hands-on instruction in programming languages fundamental to data science (Python, R, SQL, NoSQL, data manipulation libraries).
Mentor students throughout the project development process, from problem definition to data collection, analysis, interpretation, and communication of results.
Cultivate a collaborative learning environment that encourages experimentation, critical thinking, and innovation.
Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Spark, etc.
Collaborate with faculty to refine course materials and lab exercises
Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor s / Master s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in the following areas are highly desirable:
- Data science methodologies, and best practices.
- Python and R (experience with other data science languages a plus).
- Data manipulation / visualization tools such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, Power BI, RapidMiner
