Job Overview

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from vehicle drop-off to collection. This role involves providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance, upselling additional services, and maintaining excellent customer relationships to foster loyalty and satisfaction. The Service Advisor will play a vital role in supporting the workshop operations and ensuring efficient communication between customers and technicians.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and professionally upon their arrival, establishing a welcoming environment.
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately record vehicle issues or service requests.
  • Provide detailed explanations of required repairs or maintenance, offering recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines and customer needs.
  • Upsell additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance or safety, increasing workshop revenue.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring optimal utilisation of workshop capacity.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians regarding service requirements and timelines.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further concerns.
  • Maintain organised records of customer interactions, service history, and sales activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred; however, strong interpersonal skills are essential for all applicants.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with technicians.
  • Ability to upsell services tactfully while prioritising customer needs and building trust.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanour.
  • Competent in cash handling procedures with attention to detail for accurate transactions.
  • Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude with a genuine interest in automotive services is desirable but not essential. This position offers an engaging work environment where excellent service delivery is valued, along with opportunities for professional growth within our organisation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3, AED4,500.00 per month
