Talentspoc is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Shoulder Surgeon to join our prestigious medical team in Bahrain. This role involves a commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients suffering from shoulder conditions, including injuries, degenerative diseases, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Your expertise will be vital in diagnosing and treating a wide range of shoulder issues, and you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients with shoulder-related concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing both surgical and non-surgical methods.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including arthroscopic shoulder surgery, shoulder joint replacement, and rotator cuff repairs.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and recovery strategies.
  • Work with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to support post-operative rehabilitation.
  • Stay updated on advancements in shoulder surgery techniques and technologies.
  • Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives within the orthopedic department.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of residency in Orthopedic Surgery with specialized training in Shoulder Surgery.
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in shoulder surgery.
  • Proficient in performing a wide range of shoulder surgical procedures.
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients and their families.
  • Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in orthopedic surgery.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
