The 1-Ton Pickup Driver & Logistics Assistant is primarily responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient collection and delivery of rental equipment, tools, and materials to client sites across Dubai. This role requires excellent driving and navigation skills, meticulous attention to cargo handling, and proactive support for yard and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Operation & Delivery:
  • Safely operate and drive a 1-Ton Pickup Truck to deliver and collect rental equipment (e.g., small generators, scaffolding, power tools, light machinery) to and from customer sites.
  • Adhere strictly to all UAE traffic laws and company safety protocols while driving and during loading/unloading operations.
  • Maintain an organized daily route schedule to ensure on-time delivery and pickup, utilizing strong knowledge of Dubai road networks.
  • Cargo and Equipment Handling:
  • Manually load and unload goods, ensuring all equipment is accounted for, secured, and properly tied down to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify the condition and quantity of equipment against the delivery and rental contract documentation at both the company yard and the customer site.
  • Vehicle Maintenance & Documentation:
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the pickup truck (e.g., checking tires, oil, water, lights, brakes) and ensure the vehicle is clean at all times.
  • Immediately report any mechanical issues, accidents, or maintenance requirements to the Fleet Supervisor.
  • Accurately complete and secure customer sign-offs on delivery notes and log all trip information and mileage.
  • Yard and Customer Support:
  • Assist the rental team with organizing, cleaning, and moving equipment within the yard or warehouse when not on delivery duty.
  • Provide professional and courteous service, acting as a direct representative of the rental company when interacting with clients on-site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1, AED1,800.00 per month
