Job Summary
We are hiring a Level 2 Hospitality Platforms Support Executive to manage Oracle Simphony POS as the primary focus and Oracle Opera PMS (Fusion) as secondary. The candidate will report to the Platform Manager, Support independently, and coordinate with vendors for integration calls and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include system configuration, incident resolution, implementation support, and functional understanding of data integration across Finance, Inventory, and BI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for Oracle Simphony POS issues escalated from L1 teams.
- Manage Simphony support across multiple properties.
- Participate in Simphony implementation and new projects, including UAT and rollout coordination.
- Support configuration and maintenance of Simphony modules (EMC, R&A, Transaction Services, Menu Management).
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and known error workarounds.
- Monitor system performance and proactively flag risks.
- Assist in rollout of new outlets or seasonal events.
- Opera PMS Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 support for Oracle Opera PMS (Fusion) for one hotel property
- Handle Opera modules such as Reservations, Front Desk, Profiles, and Cashiering.
- Troubleshoot Opera PMS integration with Finance, CRM, and channel managers.
- Participate in Opera configuration, UAT, and rollout support.
- Join vendor integration calls for Opera and Simphony troubleshooting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Simphony POS (v2.x), preferably in high-volume environments.
- Working knowledge of POS integrations with Finance, ERP, Inventory, and BI systems.
- Familiarity with Simphony tools (EMC, R&A, Transaction Services, Menu Link).
- Basic SQL knowledge for data traceability.
- Strong diagnostic and communication skills in multi-stakeholder environments.
- Opera PMS Skills:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Opera PMS (Fusion).
- Ability to provide Level 2 support for Opera PMS issues escalated from L1 teams.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS modules and integrations with Finance and CRM.
- Strong troubleshooting and vendor coordination skills for Opera PMS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in F&B retail chains or hospitality groups.
- Knowledge of Oracle Reporting & Analytics (R&A).
- Understanding of POS hardware ecosystems.
- UAE Driving License preferred.
