Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across various digital and print media, contributing to branding, marketing campaigns, and web design projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in graphic design principles and be eager to learn and grow within a dynamic environment. The role involves collaborating with senior designers and clients to produce innovative visual content that aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating compelling visual designs for branding, marketing materials, social media, websites, and presentations.
  • Support the development of web design projects using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Contribute to the realisation of digital content including photography, video editing, and motion graphics using Adobe After Effects and other relevant software.
  • Utilise design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and InVision to produce high-quality graphics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content for various platforms and campaigns.
  • Help maintain consistency across all visual assets in line with brand guidelines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas for creative projects.
  • Support the management of content within content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.

Qualifications

  • A recognised qualification or relevant experience in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Adobe After Effects.
  • Experience with web design technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of digital design principles specialising in branding, UI design, and marketing materials.
  • Skills in photography and video editing are desirable.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, InVision for prototyping and collaborative design workflows.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas effectively.
  • A keen eye for colour theory, typography, layout composition and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
