- Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards, with the ability to teach Science up to at least GCSE level (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics).
- Model strong scientific inquiry, analytical, and problem-solving skills through creative and effective teaching approaches.
- Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track, and support student progress.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high-quality teaching and laboratory resources.
- Support the academic and pastoral well-being of students, promoting the school s values, routines, and high expectations.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding student progress, attainment, and next steps.
- Participate actively in school events, professional development, and broader whole-school initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Applicants must:
- Be a fluent English speaker
- Bachelor s degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
