Tax & Compliance Manager (English Speaking)

Location: Dubai

About the Role

We are seeking a Tax & Compliance Manager to manage UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tax computation, filing, and advisory, along with strong knowledge of AML laws and compliance frameworks within the DNFBP sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance.
  • Prepare and review corporate tax computations, returns, and supporting schedules.
  • Ensure timely filing of VAT and corporate tax returns in line with FTA requirements.
  • Review financial statements for tax compliance and identify potential risks or savings.
  • Support clients with EmaraTax registrations, voluntary disclosures, and clarifications.
  • Advise clients on tax implications of business transactions and cross-border arrangements.
  • Collaborate with audit teams on tax-related matters and stay updated with UAE regulations.
  • Develop and maintain internal compliance checklists and firm policies.
  • Apply knowledge of AML laws, KYC, screening, and compliance audits for DNFBPs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
  • ACCA, CPA, CA, or CTA (full or part qualification preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an audit or tax consultancy firm (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT laws.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and client-focused.
  • Must be based in the UAE and available for immediate or short-notice joining.
