Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our elite team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for top-notch patient care, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of dental practice.

As a Dental Assistant at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, efficient operation while supporting our dentists and enhancing the overall patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

  • Greet and prepare patients for their dental appointments, ensuring comfort and reassurance.

  • Assist with dental procedures including cosmetic, restorative, and preventive treatments.

  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist, including passing instruments, suctioning, and maintaining a sterile field.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality using the electronic health record system.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments, handle patient inquiries, and process billing or insurance claims.

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure the operatory is fully stocked and organized.

Clinical Support:

  • Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.

  • Assist with routine laboratory tasks such as impressions or preparation of materials.

  • Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene instructions.

Facility Maintenance:

  • Uphold the clinic's standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas.

  • Assist with maintaining equipment and reporting any malfunction or maintenance needs.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification:

  • Diploma or Certificate in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution.

  • Valid DHA (Dubai Health Authority) or DOH license OR eligibility preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a high-end or luxury dental practice.

  • Proficiency in dental software and digital technology.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
