Our client, an established legal practice in the UAE is seeking a Head of Virtual Assets (Associate Partner level) to lea it's growing practice. This senior position is ideal for a legal professional with deep sector knowledge and a passion for driving innovation within the evolving world of virtual finance and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a broad range of virtual asset matters, including blockchain projects, cryptocurrency transactions, and digital asset compliance.
  • Lead and support legal teams in delivering complex, high-value virtual asset mandates.
  • Oversee practice operations and contribute to strategic growth in the virtual asset space.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring commercial success and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities within emerging technology sectors.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Law degree; LLM/ Masters is essential
  • VARA knowledge essential
  • Minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience, including strong exposure to digital assets, fintech, or related areas.
  • Proven expertise in corporate/commercial law and regulatory matters.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and business development skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to manage teams and deliver results.
