Responsibilities

  • Perform surgical procedures on pediatric patients, addressing both elective and emergency surgical needs
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and develop tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and cohesive patient care
  • Monitor patient recovery post-surgery and manage any complications or follow-up care effectively
  • Provide counsel and education to patients and their families regarding surgical options, risks, and recovery processes
  • Maintain detailed medical documentation and records for all surgeries performed
  • Stay abreast of the latest techniques and advancements in pediatric surgery to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution with a specialization in Pediatric Surgery
  • Board certification in Pediatric Surgery
  • Valid medical license to practice in the Gulf region
  • Significant experience performing pediatric surgical procedures in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric anatomy, surgical techniques, and postoperative management
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, especially in working with children and families
  • Ability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to dynamic healthcare environments
