Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Material Engineer will work within the building and infrastructure sector, focusing on evaluating, selecting, and testing materials for various construction projects. Key responsibilities include conducting research and development to identify suitable materials, performing quality assessments, collaborating with construction teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. The role also involves optimizing material usage to enhance project performance and sustainability.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Materials, Material Selection, and Materials Science
  • Knowledge of Research and Development (R&D) processes for material analysis
  • Understanding of Metallurgy and its applications in building and infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in evaluating and testing construction materials for compliance with engineering standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Prior experience in building and infrastructure projects is preferred
