Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Gypsum Carpenter to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in gypsum board installation, ceiling works, partitioning, and decorative false ceiling designs, with a focus on quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, drywall panels, and ceiling tiles as per drawings and specifications.
  • Construct and install partitions, bulkheads, and false ceilings (Gypsum/POP).
  • Prepare surfaces and frames using metal channels or wooden supports.
  • Apply finishing materials such as corner beads, joint tapes, and putty.
  • Perform sanding, leveling, and surface preparation for painting or finishing.
  • Repair and patch damaged walls and ceilings when needed.
  • Ensure all installations meet quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with other site trades and report progress to the supervisor or foreman.
  • Maintain tools and ensure a clean and safe working area.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a gypsum carpenter.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and layout plans.
  • Skilled in measuring, cutting, and assembling drywall systems.
  • Familiar with metal framing and ceiling suspension systems.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to work on ladders or scaffolding.
  • Team player with attention to detail and quality finish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in residential, commercial, and retail fit-outs.
  • UAE or GCC experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of other interior finishing tasks is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2, AED2,500.00 per month
