Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a VSAT Junior Engineer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The VSAT Junior Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VSAT systems. Daily tasks include system monitoring, performing network diagnostics, addressing technical issues, ensuring system updates, and providing technical support to clients. This role also involves working closely with the engineering team to ensure optimal system performance.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in VSAT systems, satellite communications, and associated technologies
  • Proficiency in network configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of RF technologies, modems, and antennas
  • Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer support skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment
  • Prior experience in the satellite communications industry is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field preferred
